The flood alert is serious in Thailand. The entire Nonthatburi and Pathum Thani is flooded and there are many districts that are at high risk including Min Buri. Luckily, my family lives in the main city at Bangkok, in Sukhumvit soi 23. About two weeks ago, my uncles home at Pathum Thani got washed away and his family came to live with us. They came to live with us for about a week and then they left to India. Due to this tragedy all over Thailand, my family donated money and I helped pack the basic food(mushroom, carton milk, bagels of rice, dry fruits, plastic bags, tissue, mama noodles) and water for the villagers in Lam Lukka. Later, I also helped load the military truck so they can send the supply to all these people. Many people are feeling unsafe and in the market many of the basic foods are getting finished easily. There are many miserable stories about the flood victims. In the beginning my family stored a lot of the food and about nine liters of water. Finally, my family decided to go to India to stay safe and celebrate Diwali. After I came back to Bangkok, I helped pack for the flood victims who live in the villages. There were over 56 people to help pack for 500 people. I hope that my efforts have helped.

Thanks for your post Manasi. I'm glad to hear that even though you are celebrating with family in India, you still want to come back to come back to Bangkok. However, I am very sorry to hear about your uncles. On another note, this blog post is only one paragraph, yet it contains at least five different ideas. How could you further develop each idea and organize them to make the post easier to follow for your readers? Thanks for including (and citing) a photo, it really enhances the post!
